What is Alternative Dispute Resolution?

Alternative Dispute Resolution (known as ADR) which includes Arbitration, Mediation and other creative processes is usually a speedier, cost effective and more pleasant way to resolve disputes than a trial in court. We promote ADR with the message ADR Works. We often use ADR to settle our own cases and act as Mediators and Arbitrators in others. Trial in court is a costly and risky process which we see as necessary in some cases but usually not the best way to proceed.

Civil Litigation is what we do

The lawyers of Miskin Law Offices (Murray H. Miskin and Michelle E. Brown) are known for representing people in civil courts where claims are made for money. For personal injury claims we work on a contingency so you do not pay until we get results. We do not practice criminal or family law. A first consultation with us is always free.
